Kicking off NYFW S/S 2015, pas de calais' Gathering collection really sets the bar high this year. More than just a presentation, pas de calais' showing at their SoHo Flagship Store immerses viewers in a world of tranquility, combining Mediterranean inspired decor with dream-like musical performance.

The collection features an assembly of layered, loose-fitting designs with emphasis on natural textures such as linen, cotton, and the occasional silk. As for colors, pas de calais successfully manages to combine somewhat dark earth-tones with a colder, blue palate. The occasional tie-dies, stripes, and prints add a strong dynamic to the already harmonious collection. Last but not least, pas de calais pairs their looks with an interesting selection of oxford-sandal hybrids, as well as the somewhat safer white/blue platform sandal.

The overall dreamy, oceanic experience at pas de calais' Gathering goes far beyond it's viewers expectations. Why?  From the xylophone ringing behind dyed-string veils, to the calmly chaotic movements of the angelesque models, pas de calais demonstrates the importance of giving special attention to detail. Gathering's execution is simply flawless; the pictures speak for themselves.
