The eternal Marilyn. How else is there to describe the quintessential icon of American femininity? Her ruby-red lips, platinum hair, and infectious smile continue to influence the world. Each day, millions marvel at her beauty and talent through imitation and idolization. Now, 52 years after she was lost to the world, Marilyn shines bright as ever.

Here at BASTION &CO, we were so excited to receive an invitation to the exclusive premiere of Marilyn: The Lost Photos, SUMO's newest exposition (hosted by Victoria Secret Models Elsa Hosk & Martha Hunt). The exhibit gave us the opportunity to travel back in time to view Ms. Monroe as never before seen. In the 28 newly discovered photographs taken between 1952 and 1956, we were able to observe a form of the star in her rarest form of candidness. As unscripted as the pictures' origins are, Marilyn's radiance somehow is brought back to this world in true vitality. Once again, if but only for a fragile moment, Marilyn Monroe's grace and elegance was able to daze her affectionate admirers.

A definite must-see for any Marilyn lover; don't miss the opportunity to take a look at these gorgeous photographs. The exposition is now open to the public at SUMO Gallery in Tribeca until July 26th from 12 to 7PM, free of charge! (by appointment only).
