Taking Care of Your Skin

 

FALL SKINCARE.

My skincare routine is much like my closet. A couple of times a year, I need to switch up the pieces that don’t  fit the season.

Change it up. 

My skin tends to be a bit more dry during the Fall season, so it needs to be a little more hydrated. Cold weather means it’s a good time to start using a somewhat "thicker" moisturiser. So treat yourself to a new extra moisturising day and night cream. 

Get Your Scrub on.

ough you might think that exfoliation does more damage than good to your skin during the colder seasons, scrubbing is actually the best way to treat dry, flaky skin. Fall is a great time to introduce your face to a once or twice a week scrub session. And while your at it, don’t forget to scrub your hands, feet and elbows. They need some extra love too!

Sunday is "facial mask" day.

With facial masks, facial exfoliators and other extra skin care steps, it can be hard to remember when you applied your last peel or took the time for your last mask. This is a problem you won't ever have to worry about if you take the time to make a skin care routine.

Don't Forget Sunscreen.
 

Last but not least, just because you may not be tanning on the beach doesn't mean you can forget the sunscreen for the next 6 months. Sunscreen is a daily essential, so don't set it aside!

When the day’s are getting shorter, take some extra time to pamper your skin. Enjoy!
